August at Vision Montessori will be a month filled with sunshine, curiosity, hands-on learning, and joyful exploration across all our programs. As summer gently transitions toward a new school year, our Infant, Toddler, Primary, and Kindergarten classrooms will embrace engaging themes, meaningful activities, and Montessori-inspired experiences that will nurture independence, creativity, and confidence.

Classroom Highlights​

• Infants Our littlest learners will welcome August with sensory-rich experiences that connect them to nature and the world around them. From guided nature walks and water play to texture hunts and art exploration, infants will engage in activities that strengthened fine motor skills and encouraged curiosity.

• Toddlers will enjoy a month full of imagination, movement, and discovery. They will step into the magic of the circus, will soar with kites, will explore the wonder of bubbles, and will end the month celebrating bright sunflowers. Academic foundations will continue with phonetic reviews of y, z, and a, number recognition (1–3), and geography concepts such as land/water, continents, and weather.

• Primary students will explore meaningful themes that will support emotional development, sensory awareness, creativity, and social connection. They will learn about the Five Senses, will identify Feelings & Emotions, will discover the colors of the Rainbow, and will celebrate Friendship through teamwork and kindness.

• Kindergarteners will strengthen core academic skills while exploring nature-inspired weekly themes. Language lessons will focus on phonetic sounds, blending, comprehension, and writing. Math will include addition, subtraction, and word problems at each child’s pace. Geography and science will come alive through hands-on activities and experiments.
